In celebration of Father’s Day, LANE client Moonstruck Chocolate Co. has released its Top Shelf Collection, a selection of truffles featuring dad’s favorite liqueurs – Hennessy VS. Cognac, Knob Creek Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Sazerac Rye Whiskey. Each spirited truffle is finished with a hand-decorated transfer inspired by vintage tattoos designed by local Portland artist – and Moonstruck Chocolate Café neighbor – Joel Baca.

On Tuesday, May 14, the Portland Business Alliance celebrated its annual breakfast, and LANE client Dennis Rawlinson, firm chair for Miller Nash LLP, served as emcee with KGW-TV’s Laural Porter and Portland Business Alliance president and CEO Sandra McDonough.
The theme of the breakfast can be summed up in three words: commerce, community and prosperity.

Did you know that March was Music in Our Schools Month? A call to action for all of us to help ensure music stays part of our child’s education. In honor of this month, Music & Arts launched a two-week nationwide Facebook sweepstakes challenging musicians everywhere to make a Pledge to Practice. The collaborative goal was for all musicians who pledge to practice to reach 100,000 minutes by March 31.
