Challenging ourselves in the office – and on the pavement

We at LANE hold fitness and nutrition in high regard, as you can see from our client list, including One Degree Organic Foods, Skout Natural Foods and USTA PacNW. This is true outside of the office, as well.

For the past month, my colleague Rob and I have been training for a half marathon. He was inspired by his recent completion of the Wild Rogue Relay, I by my training for Hood to Coast. This past Sunday, we showed what we could do at the Harvest Hay Half Marathon in Battle Ground, Wash.


A Journey Through Turkey

bI recently took a trip through Turkey, where I explored the country, was hosted by its incredibly generous people, and enjoyed—of course—its fabulous cuisine.  The first thing that I noticed?  The Mediterranean diet is alive and well!  While, just like here in the US, there are trends towards molecular gastronomy, fusion, farm to table dining, etc., there is no denying that the traditional Mediterranean diet has a stronghold over the daily cuisine.
