Three cheers for LANE PR’s Woman of Worth, Amy Paterson

Our very own LANE PR vice president, Amy Paterson, has been honored as one of 10 national Women of Worth by L’Oréal Paris, which comes with a $10,000 award for her non-profit, My Little Waiting Room. As you can imagine, the entire LANE team was tickled pink when we heard the news! Amy is so deserving of this award, as she’s worked tirelessly to make My Little Waiting Room a success.

What’s My Little Waiting Room all about? My Little Waiting Room promotes the health and well-being of families by bringing drop-in child care to the hospital, allowing children to thrive as families heal. It is operated by Volunteers of America Oregon at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, and soon to open a second location at Providence Portland Medical Center.

Kids are hungry when they return from a long day at school, and it’s always a good idea to have healthy snacks on hand for them to munch on.
