LANE, a national, independent agency specializing in public relations, digital marketing and investor relations, has received a Spotlight Award for excellence in investor relations by the Portland Metro chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA Portland).
LANE received the award for a public and investor relations campaign it executed for Thoma Bravo, a private equity firm in Chicago and San Francisco that specializes in application and infrastructure software and technology-enabled services. The campaign was strategized and executed around the firm’s latest fundraise, Thoma Bravo Fund XI, in May 2014.
Through a strategic public relations campaign, LANE secured coverage of Thoma Bravo’s proven investment strategy and new fund in every media outlet the agency targeted, including a feature story from New York Times DealBook. Thoma Bravo was ultimately able to secure financial commitments totaling $3.65 billion, or 146 percent of Fund XI’s intended goal.

LANE has hired two individuals and promoted four employees in its Portland, Oregon, office. The agency added Sonal Haladay as a senior account executive and Heather McLendon as a digital strategist. Tracy Anderson and Claire Castellanos have been promoted to account director, Rob Bitter has been promoted to senior account executive, and Rachael Ka’apu has been promoted to account executive.
