Wendy Lane Stevens and Peter Finn
Global public relations firm, Finn Partners, today announced it has entered into an agreement to acquire LANE, a national independent PR firm headquartered in Portland, Oregon. The move is Finn Partners’ first step in the Pacific Northwest and builds a greater footprint for its West Coast operations.
“While we are headquartered in Portland, LANE has long operated as a national firm serving our clients’ integrated communications needs throughout the U.S.,” said Wendy Lane Stevens, president of LANE. “By joining forces with Finn Partners, LANE is positioned to bring new resources and opportunities to our clients and employees, while continuing the outstanding work we’ve built our reputation upon.”

Amber Roberts, senior vice president of LANE, has received M&A Advisor’s Emerging Leaders Award. Roberts was selected by M&A Advisor’s independent judging panel for her distinguished accomplishments and expertise in the field of merger and acquisition communications.
Roberts has nearly 15 years of experience in investor relations counsel as well as in strategic marketing, media relations and digital marketing. As lead of LANE’s financial services practice, Roberts has advised clients engaged in transactions ranging from $90 million to more than $4 billion across a variety of industries, including financial and business services, consumer and technology.

LANE has hired three executives and promoted two to strengthen the agency’s team in New York. LANE added Malisa Meresman and Yan He and promoted Betsy Stavis and Vanessa Jovel. LANE also hired Shannon Woods in its Portland office.
