LANE, a Finn Partners Company, has promoted seven executives to strengthen the marketing communication agency’s team. LANE promoted Malisa Meresman to partner and Claire Castellanos to vice president. In addition, Vanessa Jovel has been promoted to senior account executive and Ryan Asbury, Brian Eng, Megan Moran and Ben Touger have been promoted to account executive.

In recognition of her leadership within the agency, Meresman has been promoted to partner. Meresman, who has been with LANE for nearly three years in its New York office, has been influential in building the agency’s national consumer client portfolio. Her keen understanding of how the wellness and lifestyle sectors intersect combined with an ability to develop creative campaigns that engage target audiences at multiple touchpoints have boosted consumer brands such as Applegate, Lillet and Steaz.
Castellanos, who joined LANE’s Portland office in 2012 and has more than 10 years of experience in the development of strategic marketing communications programs for business-to-business and consumer accounts, has been promoted to vice president. Castellanos’s ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment coupled with a proven track record of elevating brands in complex industries will continue to make her a trusted resource to her client-partners in the consumer-lifestyle, technology and financial services industries.
Jovel, whose expertise spans earned and paid media relations, content strategy, experiential marketing, transaction communications and reputation management, has been promoted to senior account executive in LANE’s New York office. Jovel’s promotion gives her greater responsibility for campaign strategy and management, furthering her ability to drive success for her clients in the consumer-lifestyle and financial services industries.
Asbury, based in Portland, has been promoted to account executive in recognition of his ability to garner media coverage for clients in the heavily technical sectors of financial services and technology. His client portfolio includes PWCC, Swander Pace Capital and TRUSTID.
Eng, based in New York, draws on his expertise in paid, earned and owned media to execute integrated communications campaigns that engage target audiences with a brand online and offline. His client portfolio includes Applegate, Lillet, and the Marine Stewardship Council.
Moran, based in Portland, specializes in building targeted visibility for brands in the food and beverage and travel and hospitality sectors. As an account executive she will continue to promote her portfolio of regional, national and international brands, including ilani, the International Olive Council and Riverhouse on the Deschutes.
Touger, based in New York, implements strategic public relations campaigns for a variety of clients in the consumer-lifestyle and financial services industries, including Applegate, Grass Seed USA and Regions Bank. As an account executive he will continue to implement strategies that help clients achieve business goals.
