LANE PR Announces Key Promotions in Portland and New York City Offices

Agency strengthens financial PR team and East Coast footprint with three promotions

PORTLAND, ORE./NEW YORK — Sept. 26, 2012 — LANE PR, a national public relations agency specializing in integrated public relations, social media and investor relations, has promoted three individuals. Amber Roberts has been named vice president, Ted Lane has been appointed senior account executive and Rob Bitter has been promoted to account executive.

As a newly appointed vice president, Roberts leads LANE PR’s New York City office and is charged with overseeing all day-to-day operations and ensuring the highest level of service for LANE’s East Coast clients. Roberts also focuses on developing and executing public relations strategies for consumer, financial services and technology companies, and has significant experience in investor relations and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining LANE PR, Roberts was at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide and Robinson, Lerer & Montgomery (RLM). She graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa., with a Bachelor of Science in marketing. Roberts is a member of National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and serves on the New York City Board of Directors for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).

In his new role, senior account executive Lane will contribute a combination of financial expertise and investor relations knowledge to the LANE PR team. He will assume a greater role in day-to-day account management and will continue to be involved in public relations campaigns for a variety of consumer, financial services and technology clients, including Thoma Bravo, D.A. Davidson, ZAGG, Craft Brewers Alliance and Redhook Brewery. Lane is currently working toward an investor relations certification from NYU/NIRI. With a Bachelor of Arts in economics and Italian from Connecticut College, Lane spent three years on Wall Street working in the financial services industry before joining the LANE PR team.

Bitter joined LANE PR in March 2011 and has applied his strong finance and sales background to his work at the agency. As an account executive, Bitter will develop a number of communication and media tools for clients and execute local, regional and national campaigns for financial, business-to-business and consumer accounts. Prior to joining LANE PR, Bitter worked as an institutional investment adviser at Phillips and Company Securities in Portland, Ore. Bitter attended Connecticut College in New London, Conn., and is FINRA Series 7, 65 and 63 certified.
