PORTLAND, ORE./NEW YORK — Aug. 27, 2012 — LANE PR, an independently owned, national public relations agency, recently opened the doors to its new office in downtown Portland. The innovative, open floor plan was created within LANE PR’s former space, and promotes creativity and collaboration among employees.
“Our new space promotes employee cooperation and interaction by removing the physical barriers between teams,” said Wendy Lane Stevens, president of LANE PR. “Our best and brightest campaigns involve teamwork and innovative thinking, and our new space enhances those creative encounters.”
LANE PR partnered with Hills Design Group to create a workspace that mirrors its company culture, core values, and business practices. The space features warm white walls, high ceilings, pops of color, and a new creative room for brainstorms and employee education. Low workspace wall heights allow for easy conversation and information sharing and a new café provides employees a space for socializing. While the individual work spaces are private, they allow and encourage conversation and creative thinking.

LANE PR’s New York office also moved this summer, but maintained its prestigious 500 Fifth Avenue address. The new office, situated in the same building in the heart of Manhattan, is mere steps away from Bryant Park and the New York Public Library. At the epicenter of national media, large-scale industry trade events, and Wall Street, LANE PR’s New York office maintains a prime address for executing campaigns and building media relationships.
