LANE PR, an independently owned, national public relations agency, donated nearly 1,100 hours that equaled $187,000 in billings to not-for-profit clients in 2007. The clients who benefited from LANE PR’s pro-bono worked included: The James Beard Foundation’s Taste America, Portland Public Market at Union Station, Growing Gardens, Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Portland Aerial Tram Executive Management Committee.
To further emphasize its commitment to community involvement, LANE PR will implement a formal non-profit and volunteer program in 2008. Annually, LANE PR will donate resources and up to 30 hours per month of employee time to two organizations. Separately, LANE PR encourages employees to spend up to four company hours per month volunteering in the community.
