LANE PR is headquartered in Portland, Oregon. Founded in 1990, the agency has deep roots in the Pacific Northwest. Dutch Bros. Coffee, Nike, Leatherman, the Heathman Hotels, Pacific Seafood and Umpqua Bank are just a few of the brands LANE PR has helped shape.

In 2003 we added an office in New York and our client roster now includes companies from around the country and the world, including Chicago, New York, San Francisco, Seattle and Madrid. However, our mission has remained the same – to generate extraordinary public relations results that help companies grow.

Amber Roberts
Director, New York Office

Amber Roberts has nine years of public relations experience in a wide range of industries.  Amber leads LANE PR’s New York City office and focuses on developing and executing public relations strategies for financial services and technology companies.

Prior to joining LANE PR, she was at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, Microsoft’s public relations agency of record. In this role she led business, trade and consumer public relations campaigns and cultivated relationships with editors, reporters and technology reviewers at national media outlets. 

Previous to her employment at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, Amber spent four years at Robinson, Lerer & Montgomery (RLM), a strategic communications firm based in New York City. During her tenure at RLM, she developed and implemented strategic and crisis communications plans for companies involved in litigation, bankruptcy and executive transitions. 

Amber graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Marketing. She is a member of the Financial Women’s Association (FWA), National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).  Amber is also actively involved with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP).
