David G. Grano
President, CEO and Founder
VERO

Dave Grano, president and CEO, founded VERO based on more than eight years of experience in the ATM industry and several years in the wireless industry.

In addition to Mr. Grano’s role at VERO, he serves as chairman and founder of APTUS Financial, which delivers advanced ATM functions to the financial and retail industries. Prior to founding APTUS, Grano built the largest network of independent automated teller machines as president and chief executive officer of Card Capture Services. Also as president of Card Capture Services, he developed and implemented a four-year growth plan that increased revenue by 1,500 percent. Grano subsequently negotiated the sale of the company to E*TRADE Access.

In the wireless industry, Mr. Grano has held executive management positions with US West Cellular, the OneComm division of Nextel and Next Communications’ Pacific Northwest division.

He currently serves as a board director for several business and nonprofit entities, including the Boys and Girls Aid Society.

Mr. Grano received a bachelor’s degree in marketing and international relations from the University of Oregon.

Co-founder and Chairman of the Board
Pacific Coast Restaurants, Inc. (PCRI)

Mr. MacLellan co-founded PCRI in 1980 and is active in corporate management, including real estate/site selection, finance, legal and marketing. PCRI is owner/operator of Newport Bay Restaurants, Stanford’s Restaurant & Bar, The Portland Steak & Chophouse, The Portland City Grill, Manzana Rotisserie Grill, Henry’s 12th Street Tavern, The Portland Deli Company and Billy Heartbeats.

Prior to PCRI, Mr. MacLellan was a corporate middle management executive for such firms as Taco Bell, and Fotomat Corporation, and he was a vice president of Marriott Corporation’s Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlours. For several years Mr. MacLellan served clients nationally as an explosive growth specialist. He is also active in several nonprofit organizations.

Mr. MacLellan is a pilot, an avid reader, a mentor, a physical fitness devotee and a member of Mensa.

Lee Koehn & Associates

Lee Koehn has more than 30 years of experience in executive selection, human resources and business management. In 1978, Mr. Koehn founded his own executive search company dedicated to providing the finest in retained executive search services to companies located in the western United States. Since then he has successfully conducted national searches for senior management and board of director positions. His client list includes companies across the industry spectrum, including high technology, telecommunication, financial services and manufacturing. Start-up to Fortune 500 companies have benefited from Mr. Koehn’s partnership approach and the keen insight he brings to the search process.

Prior to starting his own search firm, Mr. Koehn was a vice president, human resources for a Northwest-based Fortune 500 corporation. Mr. Koehn has been a community leader in education and economic growth issues within the Portland, Ore., community. He is co-founder and past president of the Columbia Willamette Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth. He was co-founder of the 2001 Pacific Northwest Financial Conference and co-chaired the conference in 2003 and 2004.

Mr. Koehn was recently elected to the board of directors for two Oregon companies, Quiktrak and Identity Safeguards. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University.

Mr. English is the director of the firm’s litigation department. He has more than 30 years of trial experience in state and federal courts in the Northwest. He has tried over 100 cases to verdict. His experience encompasses business disputes and products liability claims, including Asian Pacific and European businesses; commercial torts; trade secrets; securities; breach of contract; and directors and officers liability. He has served as national, regional and Oregon counsel for international businesses and manufacturers. Mr. English acted as lead plaintiff’s counsel in the largest investment manager fraud case in U.S. history, representing ERISA plans in pursuit of those responsible for the losses, resulting in a record 80 percent recovery of over a third of a billion dollars in losses.

Mr. English has successfully defended multi-million dollar environmental cleanup litigation involving Superfund sites and other contamination matters at commercial sites around the Northwest. Mr. English also handles sensitive, high-risk matters for large corporate clients.

Since 1999, Mr. English has served as a non-executive member of the board of directors of Dr. Marten’s Airwair USA and also served its British parent company as a member of the board of directors from 1999 through 2003.

He received his law degree from University of California, Hastings College of the Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Honors College, University of Oregon.
