LANE has kicked off a 25 Commitments for 25 Years (#25for25) year-long campaign in celebration of its 25th anniversary. Through a series of community service initiatives, knowledge sharing forums, and a healthy dose of workplace wellness, the campaign honors the individuals, organizations and communities that have contributed to the company’s continued growth.

LANE has announced it has hired four individuals and promoted five current staff members. The new hires in the agency’s Portland and New York offices will augment LANE’s integrated marketing communications capabilities, including public relations and digital strategy, while the promotions will strengthen the management bench and allow team members to assume greater responsibilities.

LANE Receives Honor at Spotlight Awards

LANE, a national, independent agency specializing in public relations, digital marketing and investor relations, has received a Spotlight Award for excellence in investor relations by the Portland Metro chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA Portland).

LANE received the award for a public and investor relations campaign it executed for Thoma Bravo, a private equity firm in Chicago and San Francisco that specializes in application and infrastructure software and technology-enabled services. The campaign was strategized and executed around the firm’s latest fundraise, Thoma Bravo Fund XI, in May 2014.

Through a strategic public relations campaign, LANE secured coverage of Thoma Bravo’s proven investment strategy and new fund in every media outlet the agency targeted, including a feature story from New York Times DealBook. Thoma Bravo was ultimately able to secure financial commitments totaling $3.65 billion, or 146 percent of Fund XI’s intended goal.
