10 Barrel Brewing Co. opened its third brewpub location in Portland, Oregon in March 2015, near the heart of the city’s coveted downtown Pearl District. While the brew pub’s grand opening received a warm welcome from Portlanders, the most discussed aspect of the new location was its rooftop patio, which was still under construction at the time. Upon finishing the rooftop patio in April 2016, LANE was challenged with driving visibility and awareness of 10 Barrel’s newly opened space.


Building on public conversation surrounding the rooftop patio and proactively pitching local and regional media, LANE secured a diverse range of media placements in target consumer and trade outlets, resulting in more than 33 million potential impressions. As a result of this publicity, locals and visitors flocked to 10 Barrel’s brewpub on the opening day of the rooftop patio and have continued on sunny and rainy days since. It was later confirmed that the opening weekend broke the record for the highest grossing sales in one day at any of 10 Barrel’s brewpub locations.
